ELIGIBILITY: Only original work by the artist will be allowed. If the work in question does not reflect the artist’s personal style as demonstrated by their body of work, then the validity of the work being “original” needs to come into question. Work completed from a reference piece provided by an instructor is not considered original. Student work done under the supervision of an instructor will not be accepted. NAAA reserves the right to reject any work that does not fit the theme of the show, as well as work that does not conform to the standards of good taste or suitability for public viewing.
WORK REQUIREMENTS: All artwork must be professionally presented. 2D work must be wired. No saw tooth or keyhole hangers will be accepted for this exhibition. “Easel” style frames designed for tabletop use will not be accepted, even if wired. Failure to meet the hanging requirements will result in your work being rejected for this exhibition. All works must be tagged on the back with Artist Code, Title, Medium and Price. All registration and tags must go through ArtCall – link will be provided on website.
Please Note: Exhibition space is limited. Artwork will be displayed as space limitations allow. The artists will be contacted to pick up any work we are unable to display.
ENTRY FEE: There is no entry fee.
APPLICATION: Online registration is required. Go to the NAAA website and click on ArtHub Gallery for further information. All registration and tags must go through ArtCall.
ARTIST CONTRACT: If you have not signed an Artist Contract yet, a contract is required for displaying work with the Nasua Area Artists’ Association at the Association’s ArtHub Gallery. Please download, print, and complete the contract from the NAAA web site: www.nashuaarts.org. Remember to bring it with you at time of drop-off. The contract is good for one calendar year and must be filled out by all artists.
SALES: NAAA will take standard 30% commission for members and a 40% commission for non-members. All works submitted to the show must be for sale.
INVENTORY LIST: 3D ONLY - All artists must submit an inventory sheet and email a copy to sonialeegilmore@gmail.com AND Jacqueline.barry@comcast.net
* Please make every effort to make arrangements to pick up your work during the scheduled pick up times. Unless prior arrangements have been made, work left beyond the pick-up date will be subject to a $5 per business day holding fee. Work left 30 days beyond the pick-up date will be considered abandoned and will become the property of the NAAA.
